Bespoke Campervan Electrical Packages, Matched to Your Van
VanVolt helps you choose the right campervan electrical package without guessing. Tell us what you want to power, how you use your van and the type of setup you prefer. We’ll recommend a complete matched DIY electrical package based around your campervan, your appliances and your off-grid plans.
No random parts. No confusing kit lists. Just a properly matched package supplied ready for fitting by you or your chosen installer.
Campervan Electrics Are Easy to Get Wrong
Choosing the right campervan electrical setup can quickly become confusing. Battery size, solar panels, DC-DC charging, mains hook-up, inverters, fuses, cable sizes, sockets, control panels and safety protection all need to work together.
Not Sure What Battery Size You Need?
We recommend a sensible battery setup based on what you want to power and how long you want to stay off-grid.
Confused by Solar, Chargers and Inverters?
We help you choose the right combination of charging, solar and inverter equipment for your build.
Want the Full Package, Not Random Parts?
Your quote can include the main products, cable, fuses, sockets, protection, switch gear and supporting parts.
Tell Us What You Want to Power. We’ll Build the Package Around It.
VanVolt does not start with a generic kit. We look at your vehicle, your appliances, your off-grid plans, your charging preferences and your budget before recommending a suitable package.
That means your campervan electrical package is based on real use, not guesswork.

Not Just the Main Products — The Full Matched Package
A proper campervan electrical setup is more than a battery and a solar panel. VanVolt packages are built to include the main products and the supporting parts needed to put the setup together properly.
Every quote is built around your setup, so the exact package depends on your van and what you want to power.
What Do You Want Your Campervan to Power?
A weekend van with lights and USB charging does not need the same system as a long-term off-grid build running an induction hob, air fryer or coffee machine.
Some high-power 230V appliances need a larger inverter and battery setup. If you only use those appliances on campsite hook-up, the package can usually stay simpler and more cost-effective.
Example Campervan Electrical Packages
Every VanVolt package is quoted around your requirements, but these examples show the sort of setups we commonly recommend.
Essential Weekend Package
For simple weekend vans with LED lights, USB charging, 12V sockets and light electrical use.
Essential Touring Package
For normal campervan use with fridge, diesel heater, lighting, USB, 12V sockets and solar.
Off-Grid Touring Package
For stronger lithium capacity, solar, vehicle charging and 2–3 nights off-grid.
High-Power Package
For running a microwave, coffee machine, air fryer or induction hob from the battery.
Premium Victron Package
For premium components, inverter/charger systems, serious off-grid use and future upgrades.
Choose the Build Level That Suits You
You can choose a preferred build level, or let VanVolt recommend the most suitable route based on your van, appliances and budget.
Essential Build
A practical, cost-conscious setup using suitable components for customers who want the right system without overspending.
Value-focusedRenogy Build
A trusted mid-range branded option for customers who want a strong balance of quality, value and off-grid performance.
Mid-range brandedVictron Build
A premium option for customers who want high-quality components, stronger inverter/charger options and future upgrade potential.
Premium routeWant to Run an Air Fryer, Microwave or Induction Hob?
High-power 230V appliances need more than a basic leisure battery. If you want to use them away from hook-up, your package needs the correct inverter, lithium battery capacity, cable, fusing and protection.
Using Them on Hook-Up Only?
Your package can usually stay simpler and more cost-effective if high-power appliances are only used on campsite mains power.
Using Them Off-Grid?
You will need a high-power inverter setup with suitable lithium battery capacity, heavy cable, fusing and protection.
Important: Most high-power campervan setups are designed for one high-power appliance at a time, not everything running together.
Supplied as a DIY Package — Fitted by You or Your Installer
VanVolt does not install the system for you. We supply the matched DIY product package based on your requirements. Fitting is handled by you or your chosen installer.
This gives you the flexibility to fit the setup yourself if competent, use a local installer, or pass the package to the person building your campervan.
High-current DC systems and 230V inverter or hook-up connections should be installed and tested by a competent person.

No. VanVolt supplies matched DIY electrical packages. Fitting is handled by you or your chosen installer.
Is the setup quote free?
Yes. Complete the setup form and we will recommend a suitable package based on your answers.
Can you include lights, sockets and switches?
Yes. Where required, packages can include LED lights, USB / USB-C outlets, 12V sockets, switch/control panels and the supporting cable and protection.
Are appliances included?
Not unless requested. The package is usually designed to power customer-supplied appliances such as fridges, fans, TVs, microwaves or air fryers. We can price appliances separately if needed.

What if I already have some parts?
Tell us what you already own and send photos or model numbers. We will recommend what else you need rather than quoting parts unnecessarily.
Do I need to know what battery size I need?
No. That is exactly what the setup form is for. Tell us what you want to power and how you use your van, and we will recommend a suitable battery size.
Can I choose Renogy or Victron?
Yes. You can choose Essential, Renogy, Victron, or ask VanVolt to recommend the best option.
